Who’s Running the Gifted Learning Center?
Dan Menken
wishes today’s
education options were available when he was
growing up in Minnesota. In high school he focused
on math and science, and the humanities in
university.
He’s worked mostly in
technology and telecom and has run a couple
telecommunications companies in Germany.

Fiona Mackenzie Menken
graduated
from St Leonard’s–Mayfield
School, a British boarding school, in 1984
and earned a B.Sc. from Manchester Polytechnic in
1988.
She holds a U.S. patent in polymer science.
Dan and Fiona have three sons.
Dan and Fiona are members of
Minnesota
Council for the Gifted & Talented.
